2012 Meeting Schedule

All meetings are luncheons, except where noted, begin at 11:45 with

fellowship time, 12 noon luncheon, 12:30 program & adjournment by 1:30.

 Lunch is $10 with reservation, $15 without a reservation.

January 18, Wednesday – Poverty in our Communities with Karen McGlinn, Share Our Selves, 1550 Superior Ave, Costa Mesa, CA 92627.

February 15 – Neighbor to Neighbor – Emergency Preparedness being held at St  Michael & All Angels Episcopal Church, 3233 Pacific View Drive, Corona del Mar, CA 92625

March 21 – Greek Orthodox Church with Father Steve Tsichlis, St. Paul’s Greek Orthodox Church, 4949 Alton Parkway, Irvine 92604

April 18 – Grant Writing for congregations and non-profits at Presbyterian Church of the Covenant, 2850 Fairview Road, Costa Mesa, CA 92626.  

Open Faiths – Open Doors week – April 29 – May 6, 2012 a week of faith groups offering open house to the public to share the beliefs to build understanding and respect. 

Wednesday May 2 - 6 p.m. Interfaith Awards Dinner and Celebration, Costa Mesa Golf & Country Club. $35 per person. 

May 4-6 - Big Sunday Weekend - a weekend of 10’s of thousands doing service in Southern California. www.bigsunday.org

June 13 - Round Table discussion – at Orange Coast Unitarian Universalist Church, 1259 Victoria St, CM 92627.

September 19 – Self Care – Body, Mind & Spirit - New Clergy Luncheon at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 1441 West Balboa Blvd, Newport Beach, CA 92661.

October 17 – Resources for the Homeless at LDS Dover & 16th. 92663

Oct  12 - 20  – 11th Introduction to China Tour led by Jim de Boom. $2,099 Includes air, hotel and meals. Visit  www.nmiinterfaith.org for details.

October 28 –  1 pm CROP Hunger Walk – at Our Lady Queen of Angels

November 18 – 7 p.m. 13th Annual Interfaith Celebration of Thanksgiving - location to be announced.

The Council Board meets on Wednesdays at 12:15 p.m. at Fairview Community Church, 2525 Fairview Road, Costa Mesa, 92626 on January 11, February 8, March 14, April 11, May 9, June 6, August 8, September 5, October 10, November 7 and Dec. 5, 2012 at 8:30 am. The meetings are open to visitors.
